PK'ing These Days and Your Stories

While East is down for maintenance......

I have been noticing that for these last few weeks since i have restarted D2 that i have seen no PK'ing at all. This seems out of place to me especially during the 1.09/08 days where pk'ing was SSOOOOOOO OVERDONE......


today i had that string broken though, i had 3 seperate person attempt to PK me with a lower level char i just started.

at the end of a tomb run at lvl 20, a lvl 27 hammerdin rushed my barb after searching around for some1 by themself for a while. lol, took him down before he took half my hp.

Then just before server started shutting down in a baal run two morons (lvl 41 hammerdin and 47 sorc) decided to start picking on some lower levels. i was lvl 37 and after they set up tp's near us they came after 3 of us. they took out a barb and assasin....but then thanks to strategy and leap i took both of them out....even with only 4 assigned skill points assasin softened up sorc though.



anyway, i got a kick out of all that and have my first ears.

whats does everyone else think about pking these days? has it really died down? do u have any cool stories?

hmmm.....pk would be rough for you since you are Hardcore. hope you stay safe with those other strange people that play HC :bugeyes

i know there have been bugs here and there over the years that allowed deaths in town.....one pretty recently if i rmbr correctly had something to do with Hammerdins. dont quite rmbr for sure though.

Lol. Today i PK'ed against a lvl 80 pally (im lvl 70). Pwned him. and then a necro with ALL his summons. and then a meteor/fireball spamming sorc. Kill 3 of them at the same time once.

ok with that aside. lol.....i am just logging in to finish baal running with the barb and AGAIN somebody came after me out of the blue. he took out a person or two and i ran way away. it was a level 50 something Bowazon.....

LOL i kinda beat him down this time too. i Leaped over a pack of monsters and used them as a buffer. then leaped back at the zon, i nearly died....but one of the monsters got the silly zon with one of those "i kill pvp" type of names. ahh...thrilling. i am getting a kick out of this now.

wtf i had to come back here and post this again,

but two more people tried to pk me last night. first a dumb level 34 barb that was showing off that he had 24 sojs, and that he was wearing some 1337 runeword items in low level shells.

then way later in the evening a lvl 71 hammerdin came after me when i was 68. i swear......some people seem unable to deal with a person when they fight back. especially when u get far enough ahead that they cant see you then u ambush them.
