It is indeed bad, but when presented with a $150 piece of software and a $5 burnt copy, which one do you think most people would choose?

I read that piracy could be sponsoring terrorist acts..... It makes sense - DVDs being sold at low prices when they cost almost nothing to buy in batch.

i am not a big fan of it but i used to do it alot... nothing got me hotter than the idea of me as a pirate. I would put on my Newspaper hat and duct tape a pigeon to my shoulder and I would d/l music while smokin a corn cob pipe.

truely those were good times.

Eh, it's useful for those hefty programs like Autocad 2k4 or PS and such...but other than that, I just go out and buy the shit (music, games, movies, that kinda crap)
