Alright. For all who love pink floyd for the reason they are so liked you will be able to follow me on this one. And for all the ones who don't, and don't like pink floyd. Well you have never had a good time, shall we say?
Anyway to get to the post. I am sitting down after coming in from walking around and hanging with some friends and realize, "I need some music." And pop on some floyd. Cause I know they won't let me down when it comes to music that's indemand.
I like how the riffs tickle the mind and strange samples test with you. I also feel that if you download some songs from them you are doing a harm to yourself and the band. Because Pink Floyd needs to be heard from Beginning to end.
I also believe that you need to have heard Pink Floyd on some kind of drug to fully understand them. (I know alot of people are gonna say how "drugs wow I am cool." or "I'm not cool enough to do drugs." So lets get that outta the way.)The drugs enhances the experience, and by experience it is once again another thing you would have to listen to them through out to fully understand. For the ones who do know, know that its so much more then music at mid point. Its gets to just be like a very nice pleasent ride you might say.
It is almost as a metaphorical ride while on something. Just floating on clouds and seeing the music being illastrated as you go along.
anyone else enjoy the experience? if not what are your thoughts on Pink Floyd. Like them? Dont like them? Like the wall but nothing else?
