Pic in map description?

hi, i just saw this game that i couldnt join, it was for some clan but it had the the checkmark with the blizz next to it as if it where a blizzard autorized map... Ive also seen these custom pics in there but i havnt seen one in awhile. Im interested in doing the same thing but i dont know how please help!
i have attached pic of what im talking about on the bottom

In certain maps there are CND files. If you open them in a hex editor, you see it's just a name. StarCraft uses it as a referene to what icon it should put there if any. Some people put these files in their map or use SCM Toolkit.

I dont think its worth it to put the pic in, because so far all the ones ive seen i cannot join.. are the maps playable when you put a pic in the description?

I'm not aware of any tutorials.

bascially you can either find the map that has the icon you want and copy the CND file in it with either StarForge or WinMPQ and put in into your map with either of those programs, or you can use the authenticity option in SCM Toolkit.

The maps remain playable. Normal StarEdit cannot save the map as long as the CND file remains in the SCM/SCX, but it should stay playable as long as the CHK isn't touched when you add it.
