Pretty cool..but the edges of the tree are a bit choppy..I suspect that's because of the difference between the tree and the background. Are you going to add color to the rest of it? I think coloring the forest behind it could look pretty awesome..once finished.

It would look less flat if you put sharper highlights on one side of the tree. Right now the light source is in the front and looks very diffused. Even if it were like that though, the front of the tree would have sharper highlights than the sides. Your brushwork is really smooth though.
