Photoshop help

Ok i tried to install Photoshop 7 from a disk my friend let me borrow and it wont let me install it because i dont have photoshop 4.0 or higer.

this pissed me off something aweful... does anyone know what to do?

The price is reasonable...

1. The amount of work put into developing this sotware is inheritely greater than most other categories of software.

2. The software has a limited market.

3. A VERY large majority of people using PS stole their copy in some way...
