the Philippines are being criticized for bending to terrorists demands and pulling out of Iraq.

It's easy to criticize someone when you will never have to deal with the hardships they must go through..... i wonder what would happen if one of the Bush family was taken hostage in Iraq?

when does the price of freedom in America become too high?

i think only when it affects the rich and powerful....

i thought i misheard this on the bbc news, but i thought i heard the announcer say they were pullin out all '91' of their troops. someone please tell me how many they really withdrew.

I thought the Phillipines only contributed humanitarian aid, so that would explain the low number.

On the other hand, I have heard conflicting reports - one saying the troops will all officially pull out in late-September and one saying it would be today.

Wait, humanitarians don't count as troops.....

Kami, Angelo de Cruz is not related to Gloria or any of her Cabinet, I believe.
