I've been a bit busy with stuff at home, and at work. But I've finally got a nice, clear day to start using my powers to better the forums, one step at a time. Here is a checklist of nearly all the things I want to do with the responsibilities given to me by the administrators. I'll likely add onto it as I go, but for now this is what I want to accomplish:
Make a new signature guidelines thread. [x]
Help out with other forums specific needs. [x]
Settle the deal with Jenny and her accounts. [x]
Find a working RPG Hack to give points a more defined use. []
Give ideas and possibly help build the BattleForums D2 Mod. []
Advertise our forums as a certain type of social community.* []
Remove inactive moderators and instate determined ones. [x]
Inspire forum moderators to do things with their forums besides moderating them. []
Add some new smilies, gifts, and other misc. fun stuff. []
Create a new ruleset for The Asylum. []
Make a firm stance for all members of staff to respect each other and not be biased. []
Revamp/clean up the way the Infraction System works (remove ones that need to be expired, clear up misc. ones, etc). []
Remove the tournament info from profiles as they are not needed. [x]
Add/remove elders based on activity. [x]
Make an affirm thread in each Staff Forum urging/reminding moderators of those sections that not all is lost, aand that I'm here to work with them. [x]
Focus on the Gaming Forums for improvement and change. [x]
* I'm not sure what you guys are doing about this, but I think we need a direction for these forums before we can make any long-term and permanent changes to games, or fundamental changes period. Thoughts?
