whats the purpose of pgems?

It's almost quite sad that items that could normally have potential in their own right are used for little more than rerolling grand charms.

there are few uses that ppl actually use but yeah most people reroll Gcs or make crafted items. Diamonds and topazs are useful though. PTopaz in a armor/helm gives you 24% mf and Pdiamond gives resists in shield maybe something else but im not too sure.

get 40 of them and you can try trading for a pul rune. it's always helpfull to have a few of them lying around.

Gems are good in mass to trade to people trying to reroll items. You can get some decent gems if needed.

If your poor use Emeralds, Rubies, Saphires, Topazes In weapons for elemental damage. Thats obvious though.

I believe you put 6 pgems or 3(not sure) in the horadric cube with a charm, i think it can be any, and click transmute and it rerolls the stats of it.

Its 3 of any Perfect Gems and one charm (preferablely hell difficulty) Higher your character lvl the better the chances of getting good mods (at least it is for me)

A thing to note; when choosing a charm to reroll, I suggest rerolling a charm with a high ilvl (that is why people want baal gcs, the ilvl=99 stays with the charm) with a high level character. I'm not sure if the character level matters, but it may as well .
