Perming

I have played LOD for a long time.
But never have i cam across item that were duped.
Untill now.
I got my hands an about 3 sojs the other day. The next day one of them was gone. Today the soj ive had for 3 months just poofed.
I hear that "perming" can prevent this. But i dont know how to perm. Also, does it make the item permanent? Or does it just keep them from poofing for a short while?

Keeps the item from poofing from game to game. Perm before you leave game.

Steps:

1)Intiate a trade screen with someone (you must intiate)
2)Check the green box
3)Leave quickly

guest gave you the way to do it. usually when i got any possibley duped item i would perm. on uswest 08 valks, wiz gloves, and a boot called wraith brand were 90% duped. i suggest always perming when you are holding items you arent sure about.

when you have duped items. always perm. or else you run the risk of a poof.

Keep in mind perming doesn't give you a 100% chance the item won't poof.
