Permanent Slow

I duel clan ii a lot, and they always have a barb that uses generals flail, and clegs, and when ever he hits, you stay clegged until you quit the game and rejoin, even after you die. I have a barb that uses the same equiptment as him, but it doesnt do it.

Whats he doing?

exact same charms?
exact same stats?
it could be a variety of reasons.

Might not fit in here, but im using classic d2, so no charms.

We both use clegaws gloves, and two general flails, the rest wouldnt effect anything.
