/per lvl issue

ive just started working with editors and all, using Hero Editor right now, and i am having problems grasping the per level features. take attack rating bonus % per lvl. it gives me values for 0-63, and i do not really understand the calculations behind it. all i wish is to add simple +1 based on level. so lvl45 +45%, etc. it doesnt seem to want to work, or i must be really, really dumb. is there something i am doing wrong? thanks to those who help.

wat do u do exactly in the per lvl catagory u say ur trying to modify

hero editor=single player, why would you want just +1 per lvl? did you try just changing that value to 1?

well i didnt want anything godly for my low level character, i still wanted it to be fun.

basically when i tried the attack rating bonus % per level I couldnt get it to just go up by one, as per the legit mod on regular magic items. it would be plus 4 per level or something higher.

maybe i am misusing this editor, i dont know. could be im just wasting my time.
