Patching a ROM

A question that most people ask when they get a japanese rom but can't understnad it.
The game I shall be using for this is Seiken Denetsu 3. I found my IPS patch thru google. If your going to have a rom handy and a IPS patch handy and your emulator, make a new RAR/ZIP folder titled the game name. After you put your rom and IPS patch in your folder, rename the IPS patch to the rom's name. (If its ff4.smc, name the IPS patch ff4.ips). Then load it with your emulator. Feel free to ask questions.

Zophars Domain has alot of these kinds of patches for Language problems.

This is really helpful, actually. You can repost it in Nintendo if you'd like, since I'm not moving this thread there :p Most of the misc consoles are played solely on emulators nowadays.

hmm.... easiest way to find the patch is google? is there a site that supplies them or do you just have to go with luck?
