Paladin - primary skills?

What primary skills such as mining or engineering should a paladin get? I'm a Lv9 Dwarf paladin around the Ironforge area. Can you tell where the skills i need are?

i probably built mine wrong, but i brought my protection talents up to holy shield, then pumped retribution with talents. my skills are mining and engineering.

Ah! Professions, that's what i meant. So mining and engineering go together then?

yeah, the copper and whatnot is needed to build certain things. also, the stones that drop along with the ore is also used to make blastin powder.
