Overlooked spells

At one time or another, you overlooked some spells.

Here are a few

DH-Immolation-Found out in a game of foties and i had most kills, was by myself, and almost never used my footies.

Frost Armor-Lich- never knew that anything could protect you that much....

Tuaren- shockwave- OK i always knew this was good, but if you line them up and do a lvl 3 shockwave againts about 8 foties, it does alot of dmg.

neither are overlooked, if you watch a replay/play game where people know how to use heroes and thier skills then i'm sure youd find those everywhere. and a lot of new people use immo i think from what i've seen

Underused Spells/Units/Upgrades IMO:

- Death Pact
- Dark Ritual
- Backpack
- Raiders
- Banshees
- Disease Cloud
- Frost Wyrms

Death Pact is awesome but I rather carry around a potion, you normally dont need it if you have statues around ya.
Backpack i dont normally like cause' it would be to much of a hassle to remember which unit has the item and im not sure but if the unit dies, doesnt the item die along with it?
Raiders, a lot of people go raiders if it needs be, cause' raiders can kill own casters I think but IMO they die way to easy.
Banshees are just good, posession is awesome but its only good for people who know how to use em, and good for a couple of tier 3 units- anti magic is awesome for something for like tier 3 birds, and curse makes the other team miss 33% more than usual, thats pretty amazing for 170? 150? gold.
Disease cloud is only used when you have enough money, I mean i would rather have a fiend, or a necro, or a statue, or an UPGRADE =O rather than disease cloud, so it must be pretty pointless.
FrostWyrms a lot of people dont use because they arent used right. If you got frosties and a couple of necros, you could a)frenzy the wyrms, b)cripple the other army, c)raise skellies off the enemies wyrms killed.
A lot of people dont do this from what I see because they get fiends/statues

All those skills/units arent useless its just that if someone picks one thing, everyone will start using that instead and everyone just forgets things

Blizzard even in the guide i mentioned how uselsess it is.And it really is against some melee but against peasants as 1st skill, you really ruin his teching with quick peasant killing.Works nice vs casters although flame is better.
Thunder clap is very useful because no changes were made with the newer version changes.

Fairy Fire is over looked and so i their cyclone/tornado/whatever move. Fairy Fire drops armor awesomely and cyclone takes annoying ground units out for a bit.

Dragon fairys caster damaging move is also over looked aswell. It rocks casters.

Where have you been playing at, cereal, fairy fire is used almost all the time whenever theres a NE around, and i dont see cyclone much nowadays but i think that the panda is the most underused unit in the game =o

The good for faerie fire is that it can be stolen,it's as effective as the slow for human or curse for undead.

Faerie fire is pretty good. I hate it when it is on my units because not only are they more vulnerable, but they also give LOS. FOR 2 MIN!!!

Pit lord is by far the least used unit in the game. runner up is the brewmaster but once a blue moon i see him. i have yet to see a pit lord in 2v2 ladder games.

i thought pitlord was good since he was a tank and he has howl of terror, who cares if he has a fatass ..right?
