Why do you care about open? It's full of hacks, and laggy as hell. It's like all pointless. Yeah, you might want to test legit builds, but who would face you?

my 2cents:

open is for ppl that are terrible at d2 and rely on hacking the **** out of games to just own little lvl 75 monsters that mean no harm other than taking 2 dmg away from 99999 hp omg with the dr itll do 0 and with ur atk u should be able to overkill it 10000000x.

Most people discern Open BNet as soon as they realize that it's "hacked" to hell. However, what with all the "godly" items, it's pretty hard to make a superior character. So alot of people will do a lot of work and balaning of their character to make it superior(www.ladderhall.com). In a way it's sort of brain stimulating to try to create the balnce of different mods and stuff like that. Just making 40 carms with tons of absorb, etc. won't do it due to the fact that Blizz wasn't planning for situations like that. So you have to find the limitations yourself and test until you have a great character.

i dl' the "clones" from lddr hall and have a hell load of fun playing on open, especially on a day with like infinite realm downs...

most of the ppl that are on open are sorcs, so... yea, 40% all absorb, with straight absorb, whatever 40 x 127 is... hehe, its fun ^^ but yea, if you wanna kick azz on open, i suggest you try getting someof the "clones" there.... they all have smite lol
