So after my last thread i made ranting about relying on people and whatever. I decided to take up my other friend on temporary accommodation just outside Geneva at her college.

Pretty much the best decision i've made this trip.

I've been here for about nine days now paying 12 Euro a night, which is pretty damn cheap for these kind of facilities. My accent made it almost too easy to befriend most of the students here, especially the girls. I'm basically just relaxing, enjoying Geneva and hanging with three very attractive hispanic girls everyday.

In hindsight i'd say i'm glad my other friend bailed on me, haha.

EDIT: One of the best things about traveling is the people you meet, if you're around them long enough by the time you leave they'll be wanting you to visit them and they'll take care of you when you're in their country. Can't wait to go to the states and take them all up on their offers

My friends wont be near Geneva until the 26th so i'm here until then. I could pay to meet up with them but they're going through here anyway and i'm a cheap bastard so i'll stay here a while.

BTW Gally, my mom has expressed interest in swapping staying in each others places if you were interested in staying at my place after I leave for Afghanistan. We live on Cape Cod. She was thinking about putting her place up for room-swapping but was hesitant about it with all the crazies out there.

I mentioned you, and having a book out, and she seemed open to the idea. Told her you've basically been our "online mum" and she mentioned this.

BTW, with my job overseas, I get a few paid plane tickets to anywhere in the world I want on my vacations... think I can hit you up?
