yea its pretty fun to check out, but not all that useful. I mean yea it is cool and shit, but at the end of the day its all about your all-over skill...err whatevr.
APM doesn't mean anything. Of course having a higher APM would improve your game (ie. making units and micromanagement), but I average an APM of 80 (I don't hotkey buildings) and beat players with 160+ APM.
apm is very important if you are really competeing instead of playing with friends, apm means how fast you are, the faster the constant macro/micro, the better u will play
I've never found APM to be that important, I've beaten a 190+ APM player with about 105. Of course, if you know your opponent isn't spamming and using all his clicks effectivley, an APM of 150 is quite good, but the majority of people spam to get massive APM.
190 apm? and lose to 105? it must have been those under 10 min games --; cause apm really shows in late game where a faster person will gain more advantage, real apm is atfer 20 minute in game anything under 20 or 15 minute does not count as apm....
