I had MyDoom, and it basicallys messes with your word and excel documents, then taps into your e-mail to send itself out to people in your address book, so be wary if you get an e-mail from your friends, always scan e-mails, no matter what!

Luckily, Norton scans my outgoing e-mails so it didn't send itself otu, and with the help of my uncle we got rid of it.
