Day of Defeat is a really really fun, and addicting game. You can find yourself playing in a competitive game for hours on the same map just trying to push the other team back to get another flag up, or just defending your own. I've just read an article saying that playing other games besdies Counter-Strike can help your skill increase, but I always seem to loose my edge when I play foreign games.

Some games make you reckless in CS, but I never thought DoD was one of them. When I played that game, I would always tend to be more careful than I am in CS. Then again, I'm a pretty reckless CS player.

Anyway, it could easily just be an off day. Or an off server. Or an off map. Performance in CS seems to come and go.
