I love watching the opening ceremonies, but sadly I'll be at the Phillies game tommorrow night. Maybe I'll tape it or something.

from what i remember there's always this guy that has a torch with this special flame and lights this big thing on fire and then all the teams from all different countries come out wavin their flags and stuff then the games begin... but that was like what 4 years ago

I didn't watch much of the 2000 olympics but the 96 ones were great. All it is all the participants go walk around, each country getting introduced. After every country has done it they light the torch to show the games have begun.
