Oldies or New?

which do u preffer, oldies or the new music of today?

as for me i love the oldies of rock .... i feel that the new music of rock has just gone to crap with all the screaming etc. (Note: some is good )
The only new music i like is country.... i know thats odd but yea i like it

Most any catagory, old = better. That doesnt necessarily mean today's music sucks, I like alot of newer bands/albums by older bands, but you just cant beat the classics.

Any pop pretty much sucks. The only real pop bands I listen to are Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, and Bob Dylan. But I guess I like the old pop better than the new. That's not to say that I don't hate "oldies" with a passion.

rock from 67-95 is all good to me. note: not oldies crap like whatthe****ever thsoe songs are called, but rock like jimi and santana and clapton, zeppelin and halen and motley crue and metallica.

and everlast, rage against the machine, and scattered new rock(some punk, maybe some hard/modern rock).

but the older stuff kicks the living daylights out of the new stuff.
