Old Horror movie escapes me...

I've been trying to think of this movie for about 6 years now probably...and its finally driven me completely insane.

I need your guy's help to remember/track down the title of this flic. Its a (guesstimating) mid-late 80's horror film in which there are vampires or some similar type of ghouls. Heres the kicker...it might not even be a movie, but an episode on some TV show like tales from the crypt or something.

Ok, there is a scene from the movie that I remember distinctly, it takes place inside an old house in which there a few people who want to keep the vampires out. They do so by using this amulet type container worn on this guys neck which has some special stuff (which if my memory serves me was red, and looked like blood) in it that they pour on the threshold, and doorway which then activates a sort of enchanted barrier to keep the baddies out.

I watched this when I was really young so i forgot most of it but that one scene remains in my head, and I wont be complete till i find this movie.

You've posted this same thing before haven't you? It really has been plaguing you for years, haha. And once again, i have no idea what it is, but the sprinkling of blood/liquid on the doors or whatever reminds me of I Am Legend.

it's a tales from the crypt keeper movie, I forgot which movie was it but I'm sure it is... I can remember bits and pieces of the movie but what really stuck to me (besyds the one you mentioned) is the scene where the kid who was reading the comics was killed (i think because whatever he was reading was actually happening)...

In the last scene of the film the only suvivor turned out to be the "chosen" one I guess.... he was walking down the bus when he poured the red liquid at the door... then my memory fails me now

If it's Crypt Keeper related then it's not from the 80's. Is it Bordello of Blood? This is the only one I remember the name of and it has a lot of instances of.. Houses.. And blood? So yeah, might IMDB it and see if that's it. I Wiki's the TV show and none of the eps had anything about vampires except one and it didn't sound like it.

Only other Tales from the Crypt movie I remember the name of was something like "Demon Knight." Don't think I ever saw either of them, but TftC is good stuff.

i thought it was bordello of blood for a while as well, but it didn't look like i remember...i think i have to actually rent it just to see if it is that.
