Here are 2 pretty uncommon questions.

How do I make a black screen for the briefing? I've seen it before.

How do I link sound triggers DIRECTLY into the broodwar CD and the sounds are not in the map (only the links)? Must I really use Stardraft? Anyone has any idea?

Im not sure what you mean about a black mission brief, i would guess that your screen messed up for some reason.

And for importing sounds. You need to import like a small wav that is virtually no file size. then open the map in scmdraft or scmtookit and edit the string for that wav to the path/name of the wav you want to use in the MPQ file

Black mission briefing... means no background? normally, the briefing has the background of the race you chose for the game. I'vefor the br seen no backgrounds iefing, but the text and objectives still scrolls.

The black mission briefing was a bug caused by one of the patchs, it was never fixed and remains right now, you can't "make" a black briefing, but if your computer is messed up, itw illl appear. (If you feel like having this be always happening, edit the .mpq file of starcraft and remove the picture of the terran/zerg/protoss starting game background.

one cool thing I have noticed wit the black backround is I remember that happened to me once, and I could see the white-colored text that was in the mission objectives. pretty neato, really, lol.
