Oh my god :-(

I keep trying to get a drop hack or something fun to play with on single player when i have nothing to do but everytime i get one of these hacks and load it up and try to start playing i get an error called an unhandled acception and it wont let me play, i know there is away around it and i know some people are out there playing these hacks and getting them to work...i have 1.10v i put -direct in my text line in the properties of my shortcut, what else is there to do..

please someone help, i searched the forums and there was no help for this issue, someone's gotta know
