Despite his visits to waffle houses, ice-cream parlors and greasy-spoon diners around the country, his slim physique just might have some Americans wondering whether he is truly like them.

Yeah, we're mostly fat people, but us voting for the more fat president over the more skinny president when we're unsure just goes with the "hey, he's kinda fat like me, cool" aspect. Name me one culture that elects their officials at that level and when it's a split decision most of the people don't go for who they're more like.

Oh, and the reason this is going off everywhere is becasuse Obamas' campaign has basically "I'm like you guys, I go to dirty diners, I go to dirty bars, I drink and I live the everyday American life", and if most American's are technically overweight with about a third being obese, then he's not really like them. The dude's almost 6'3 and he weighs like 180 lb's. And he's pretty ****ing ripped too. How is that being like most americans when most americans are overweight? That's what a lot of his campaign has been based on, so when a good amount of his campaign has been about how he's just like us when he's not, yeah, he's going to lose some votes in favor of the fat old dude.

It actually makes a lot more sense than you guys are making it out to. Ya know, you just have to actually know what' going on from the inside, instead of your outside view. It's ok to be ignorant though, it's how society works.
