Notice for petitions

This has come to my attention after numerous banning petition threads. Having just comprised my thoughts and decided to post this notice I have noticed many other threads dealing with this issue. Once again, as long as someone is spamming in the Asylum the member can not be banned. If you do not like what the forumers are doing, I advise you do not even post in the forum "Asylum" at all. Please use caution when in the forum because under Asylum it states that "anything goes."

While winoot has the right idea, I'd just like to clear up that The Asylum still does have it's rules. The "Anything Goes" should be taken lightly. I am not going to list all the rules of the forum, but there are still some general rules of thumb.

Here are the 5 main rules of thumb.

1. Spamming is not tolorated.
2. Advertising is not allowed.
3. Pornographic material is not tolorated. This includes posting links to pornographic sites.
4. Posting of personal information (phone numbers, home addresses, passwords, ect.) is not tolorated.
5. Post in the correct forums. If your post doesn't belong in the asylum, don't post it in here unless you want to get shit on and have your post get flamed beyond belief!

Other than that, pretty much anything goes. Racist terms/jokes, religion bashing, country bashing, political bashing, race and game bashing is all welcomed. You can also feel free to bash any of the moderators and myself as much as you want (while keeping in mind the 5 rules above). I don't care about that. We are all big boys and can handle it... and you all should beable to handle it also. If you can't, then stay the hell out of the asylum.

no offense skuzz, not that i hate you or anything, but i feel that now the Asylum is being so censored the term "enter at own risk, anything goes" should be changed to "enter for cute lil puppies and free lolipops"

censorship is evil. The asylum used to be a place for free expression and a place where we could manifest our anger through swears, insults, spamming, and flaming instead of taking a shotgun and going to shoot the neighbors. Besides, advertising is good, maybe it will show u something u like, and for the asylum, each forum member could have an option to turn off pop-ups, but as for forum people advertising, there shouldnt be a rule against this cause really all u have to do is just ignore those posts if i doesnt interest you, besides, sometimes people advertising can show you something you like. As for pornography, i can say with full credibility that around 95% of the people here on these forums are perverts, i know i am, u know u are, so lets stop playing "advanced race of intellectuals" and act the way we do in our natural enviroment, like annoying, loud, perverted brutes. I say lets give the people what they want.

im personnally against these rules, but if it means i have to follow them in order to stay i guess ill un-cooperatively play along

in my opinion, if the person entering the Asylum is too ignorant/illiterate/mentally challenged to take the warning seriosly, then he deserves to be exposed to nudity/sworn at till he cries to his momma/receive pop ups/spammed over and over

These rules were always in place, they were just never mentioned.

1. No Spamming

- You were never allowed to spam. Do you really want spamming allowed? You want to come into the asylum and see 40 threads saying "visit my site"?

2. No Advertising

- There is another forum for advertising.

3. No Porn

- I couldn't allow porn if I wanted anyways, my host doesn't allow it. Furthermore, this site isn't a porn site. If you want to see porn or post porn, go to http://www.literotica.com/forum

4. No posting of personal information

- Posting personal information of minors is illegal and as the owner of the site, I have to protect minors. This hasn't happend yet, but I dont want it to, which is why this rule is in place. You guys understand? Illegal.

5. Posting in the correct forums

- This rule is here because I dont want the asylum to turn into the place where everyone posts everything. I've seen some forums with "Asylums" that have more posts in them then the rest of the forums combined. This sites main focus is diablo, warcraft and starcraft and I want it to stay that way, this forum was just added so the other forums dont get filled with the junk that gets posted in the asylum

As far as #6 and #7 go, i've taken them out as they were more of just reminders and suggestions, than guidelines. If you want to be immature, then go ahead. If you want to swear, then go ahead (but swear words will still be blocked out, due to the software limitations). As for the 5 other rules, I explained why they are there.
