Ok, I got my old pc back a few days ago from my computer fixit friend. Its a COMPAQ(i know it sucks, but it works for what im doing) using Windows ME. Ok, enough babble...

The pc I'm on now is Sony VAIO with XP Home, and this is the one I use to get online.

I got SC X-tra Editor v2.5 a few weeks ago and installed it on this pc. When I got my old pc back I put the zip file on a cd and installed X-tra on the compaq.

I've noticed something, that well... is annoying me. It may or may not be a problem, but I just thought it was worth posting(i may be wrong about that...)

On the VAIO the Text Style marks are overlapping back, Light Blue (1), etc...

Yet on the compaq they are all that single bold |

Whats up with that? I've checked all the fonts on both pcs, and i have the exact same fonts on both, but I dont think that has anything to do with it.

Thoughts on what this is/means/whatever?

It doesn't make a difference unless they don't give the right color. It use to give me those boxes when I had my Windows ME. And, I too, now have a Sony Vaio running on XP Home. It gives me the Bold lines |
In battle.net. The color marks show up as boxes anyways.
It has something to do with versions I'm guessing. There use to be this program called "Map Colors" I use to use before SCXE2.5. You click on a color and press a button. Then you can paste it to your map. HASSLE. That program use to give boxes.

The character set is different. I've noticed this too. On XP Pro, it gives you a different symbol for every color (which is good, because then you can actually tell what text is which color). If you changed your char set, you could get all kinds of things.
