The Noob's Guide To
Becoming Rich
By Derek A.K.A. Wiggly_Tug

Hey.
I made this easy to follow guide that worked very well for me.
Takes about 2-3 Weeks to complete this guide.

Chapters Name
1
Char start Guide.
2
Gear.
3
How to get items.
4
Useful Tips.
5
Others.

1A.

You should always begin with a sorceress. This eliminates the hassle of getting an enigma to teleport. I recommend a Fireball Sorceress. That way you can kill Andarial, Mephisto, and Pindle Skin easily.

1B.

Make a lot of friends, friends are very helpful. This eliminates the rush for forge. So you can keep the forge and trade for items you need.

1C.

Skill Points. Very important you do not screw this up.
20 to Fireball
20 to Firebolt
20 to Meteor
20 to Fire masteries.
1 to Warmth.
1 to Teleport.

I'm not currently sure about all of the Pre-Reqs, I'll update this later.

1D.

Stat Points.
Have 156 Strength, so you can use a monarch shield for either Spirit, Stormshield, or 4 Ist'd Monarch.
Have Base Dexterity.
Rest of your Stat Points into Vitality.
Have Base Energy.

2.

The inexpensive gear.
4 Socket Armor Topazed.
3 Socket Helm Topazed.
Nagels 20+ MF.
Nagels 20+ MF.
Gull Dagger.
Lucky Boots Of Fortune. [30+ MF]

340 MF Already! [You Choose The Rest Of The Gear]

The OK Gear.
Skullders Ire. Topazed.
Shako. Topazed.
P Nagels
P Nagels
Occulus
War Travs.

THE Gear.
6 Isted Crystal Sword.
Shako Topazed.
P Nagel.
Raven Frost.
4 Isted Monarch.
P War Travs.

3.

Magic Find. ^.^
MF At..

Pindle
Andarial
And Mephisto.

Find stuff you don't need?

Make a game called Items 4 PGems.
Trade the stuff you don't need for PGems.
Gather about 40 PGems and trade them for Elite Items.

4.

Useful Tips.
1. The higher level you are the more mf skullders give you.
2. The higher level you are, the better mods you get when u imbue items such as circlets.
3. The higher level you are, the better stuff you can craft.
4. Stick with 1 character and make it godly. Or else you have A.D.D

5.

Others.
Thank you for reading this guide. This is my first guide, and I hope its good to use.

v1.00

Any..

Suggestions?
Corrections?
=] Thanks again [=

Oh yeah..

Can I put this in The Newbies Only Section?

I just have to say, good job on spending the time to make this guide. You should give the guide a little better information in the chapters, and color coordinate it. You really don't need friends to get rushed for free. A fire sorc isn't the best bet for a first char, unless you feel confident with your ability to place skills where they need to be(plus the build calls for more skill points then most people want to use for a simple MF sorc).

If you want to see how a guide should be made, you should check out a few that have been made. Check out the "Newbies Only" section, and look into the skill basics guide that I've made, and see what you may want to do with that. Although your intentions were good, this also doesn't need to be in the "Strategies and Tactics" section. My advice to you is: fix the guide, ask a mod to place this in the "Newbies Only" section, and put forth a little more detail with what one might to do become "Rich"...

Sorry if I put down your guide, I do think it's a good idea...but you should look for stuff that have already been made for this topic(I'm sure there've been plenty). The guide was still ok in my book.

I revised some of it.

I Put in 4 Skill Point Strats for Sorceress so the reader can choose.
Thanks for giving me suggestions, I edited some of it.

And I'll color code it asap.. as soon as i figure out how to do that :p.
I posted it in the newbie's only section, so hopefully it can be of use.

Thanks again.

i didnt see chancies in there anywhere...

and if you wanted, remove skullders and add in Tals ammy, armor, and belt

with those 3 tal items you should get around 130 MF from them alone

not to mention the +2 skills, and the FCR

You have to understand that you may be talking to someone who just bought the battle chest from a computer store an hour ago. What are chancies? What are nagels? If I was totally new... [your audience for this guide anyways] you are going to first of all, explain EVERYTHING, and second of all have much more information about items and why you want what you want. What is magic find? How does it help? What is going to 'mf'? Who is Mephisto? Where do I find him? How do I get there? What is rushing for forge? What is forge? What does a P mean when you put it in front of an item name? Those are all things you have to address. This could be good if it was much larger, much more elementary, had a little more confidence, and bolded and used colors to highlight key points. Oh yeah, abbreviations dictionary would help.

Wow FWI... That is the longest way I've ever seen to say that "this guide sucks!" Like he said in his title, this is his first guide, and I'm sure that he wasn't planning on much of those questions needing answered(save for in email). Check his guide that me put in the Newbies section, it's a little better, but your right, he does need to explain a little bit more.

Trust me, I wasn't attempting to tell him his guide sucks. Often times the first version of any and every guide does suck anyways... but that is another story. I let him know what I thought would make his guide a really genuine guide. I'm also sure he wasn't planning on having to be so tight with everything... and he doesn't have to be. but it would definately help the % of people who read this - as far as who it helps. I think its a great idea... also a great guide for a first guide. Anyone who spends actual time in their first guide is well on their way.

No offence, good build and all, but, the things of good value worth trading are found in nm, and hell. Their will most likely be fire immunes (this of course will be left to your merc of course has low mf if any) skip all that about the pgems, mf nightmare andy, meph, pit, countess, pindle, cows each game. Sell items for runes, and countess your ass off. Its alot easier. Repeat this in hell when you can for better items.

Either go with a duel elements sorc or a magical damage character like hammerdin, or bone necro. (of course this would take a bit longer without tele from a sorc but you rareley have immunes to magical damage in these areas) Reason being their are far less immune magical then elemental.
