NON exp diablo question

first of all ... be and my bud got bored and now we decided to play non exp .... but we have a few questions ... wat are good items ... cuz as u know there is no runes on non exp.... also wat kind of stuff do u do for lvling ... cuz as u know there is no baal runs .... also how do u socket stuff ... i might have more questions later ... but if anyone has any answers .... plz post here

- good items are rares and some exceptional uniques (elite uniques dont exist)

- for lvling, cows still work on classic for xp i do believe

- for socketing, use the cube formula (i forget it exactly)

For leveling try 8ppl solo games in act 4 (this used to work back in the 1.0 days when the koreans invaded UsEast.) I don't know if it still works.
I remember the Rare Ornate Plates for armor ( they can go up to like 800def..lol)
sojs=currency (I think)
Gull dagger is supposed to be mint on classic (last time i check which was last year)

The very first patch when d2 came out which was like 6 years ago. Wasn't it 1.0?
