AVG. Thinking of getting ClamAV because I use Firefox and a brain, and AVG is beginning to piss me off because it keeps popping up notices for me to download a new version.*

AVG should be able to autodownload updates. It only does that when a new make is released.

I am currently using AVG 8.0. Contains anti-virus and anti-spyware protection. My browser is Opera and a brain. Firefox if some sites dont run Opera well.

Ever since I first installed AVG, I have had no virus attacks on this Vista machine.

i use:

Avast! Pro
Firefox 2.0
Spybot
Adware

and i run a program called "DU Meter" its a download/upload status bar, always letting me know how much im dl/uling it, i originally got it for fun, to keep track of how much i DL, but ive learned its a GREAT tool for diagnosing computers, if **** is on a computer the upload will spike up on its own without any programs running

Avast! Pro, i stand by it 100%, love it

but ive used NOD32 and i have no complaints with it, those are my top 2 choices

with avg: i bet 80% of hte people using avg, if they were to switch to avast pro/nod32, they would find out they arent as clean as they think

remember: Just because you dont NOTICE the virus, doesnt mean its not there.
