hey ive taken time off from diablo since that .09 patch came out while ago and i searched and i could find anything on it, but my question is what are the main diffrences vese non ladder and ladder.

and im going to be making a Frenzy bard with x2 E-botd zerks and all that other good stuff, since im not using a shiled should i put more dex on him, or just get him good amount of strenth and rest to viatilty?

Ladder is basicly a "new" realm, where it's a competition to get to 99 first.Also there is less dupes on ladder.

For your barb,if you're not using a shield, dont put alot of dex.

ladder is basically bnets attempt to clean up the past.

by creating ladder they create a realm free of dupes and whatnot(well, for the most part at least, i imagine theres still some privates out there...)

also, there are some items that are ladder only (mostly runewords such as spirit and infinite) to entice people to move to ladder

I reccomend ladder because its funner without all the duped items with the exception of a few runes

Item selection. You can find and make a lot more stuff on Ladder than you can on Non-lad.

If you are just starting-restarting, then ladder would be your best bet, because of more possibilities.

If you are an old player with all your gear, then just stay on non, maybe gather some items on ladder when the prices are at a lower amount.

Synergies, get familiar with them!
