Nightmares...

so last night I had the worst dream ever....
okay so basiclly my mom, my dads wife and I were being chased down by a fat lady and his wife who could time travel....
first it was just me in a big house that was ours (but isn't IRL) and his the fat lady was there and we were talking hit to eachother then her husband just appered out of nowhere with a big shinny gun and said "you don't know what she would do to you" by this time I was at the front door...I asked "what would she do to me?!" then he shot at me and I closed the door and the bullet went through the brick.. but it was kinda slow motion like but I wasn't and I moved out of the way and raaaaan.
I was trying to get help but it was a sunday and everywhere was closed and no one would help me.. the fat lady (who kinda looked like the bad mom in the goonies but not as old and longer hair..) showed up whereever I went, in clothes stores where there were no employess for some resson... I guess they had already killed my dad....
well eventully I found shanon (dads wife) and we started running together, but everywhere I went they would be there soon after, I started thinking they had put a tracker on my or something so I took off everything I had on and we were running through the streets yelling for help but none ever came... well thats when I wook up..... at 6:30..
I breathed a sigh of relife knowing it was jus a dream and went back to sleep scince I didn't have to be up till 8:00....
so back asleep there she was.... and this time it was my mom and I who were running... we went into some fancy clothes store. she said she had already told them everything when she was very old becuase they had killed me already... I figured out then that they could time travel....
well in the fancy clothes store they tried to help us hide. they had a big rack of clothes and told us to hide in them, my mom hid in a pair of pants and it felt and loked like she wasn't in the pants at all (which kinda makes me giggle cuz my mom is a big lady) I tried to hide in a bif flowey dress but I was being really clumsey when they brought us out of the store like that... (I was still naked in this part of the dream) so they took us out of the clothes and before I knew what was happening they shot my mom in the back of the head.. I got really really sad but I just started running.. I ran into my work (coldwater creek) and went downstaries and put on like a black and blue jogging suit type thing.... then I ran more.... ran everywhere looking for help, it was night by now and no one whould help us... untill the very end an old lady and her dog were walking up the hill and I was running down it and I told her to help me that they were going to kill me and they appered again except the lady was fat and blonde anymore sh was skinny and brunnet.... but then my alarm went off........

im sorry if that was to long for some of you lazy bums to read..
I want to know if this dream has any meaning... it was so crazy and im still a little freaked out... there are alot of things I can't even rember very well so I didn't put them here.. it seemed like the longest dream I have ever had....
but enogh about me.. how about your bad nightmares?

I never have simple, everyday nightmares...if I ever have nightmares, it's usually over-the-top...there have been a few apocolypse-type scenarios...let's see, let me tick them off...

A) Aliens come, mistakenly thinking I'm somehow the savior of their race, so they exterminate absolutely everything on Earth so that I'll have no ties to make me want to stay there.

B) Some sort of viral infestation takes over the world, turning the entire Earth's surface into a frozen wasteland writhing with some sort of carnivorous organism that looks something like a horribly twisted dead tree.

C) Many varieties: I'm running from something, or trying to escape it...it's usually a single creature, but there's always something bug-ugly after me.

D) Entropy takes over the world, disassembling everything and rebuilding it, restarting the course of history, and somehow I'm the only person who's evaded it, and in doing so I'm doomed to watch the cycle happen throughout all time...with the same exact people coming into being each run through, so at a certain point in the timestream over and over again, I watch everyone I know be born, grow up, go through all the pain of their lives, and finally grow old and die...endlessly, over and over again...and the same with the mad horror of the entropy process itself that resets everything.

E) Once, I was in a military bunk sort of setting, with a bunch of friends and buds sleeping in the same room in a sort of tiered bunk system, and some sort of spectral demon thing was slaughtering the **** out of everybody in their beds at night, as I watched pretending to still be asleep.

F) Once I was running from a bunch of critters...sort of like zombie werewolves, and they actually caught me. Most of my dreams are kind of third-person, where I can see myself moving, but this one was fully first person, from my perspective, and when they caught me there was a long and painful time when I was laying on the ground looking up at them as they'd reach down and rip out my entrails, and I'd see them pulling up chunks of me and eating them.


yeah, most of my dreams are kinda disturbing, when I do actually have nightmares. Usually I lucid dream though, so my more unpleasant dreams never end up going badly...instead I whip the everloving shit out of pretty much whatever threatens me. OH, and I can usually fly...sorta.

What a weird dream.

I have had a few nightmares where I woke up freaked out. I have a recurring one where I'm in a big city and there's a giant dinosaur that is destroying everything (yeah, so cliche) and I have to make it to safety. I've had another dream where it is like the undead invasion of Azeroth from WoW, and wherever I would go, the undead kept spreading. Pretty lame though. I don't remember all the ones I've had.

Alright, I'll disect this - I know a tiny bit of dream interpretation.

You are scared of lesbians.

Now a bit more seriously, being chased means you are worried about something. If you know this person or this person appears to be someone you know or seems similar, it is likely that person is the cause, directly or indirectly. If not, it could be some general fear or worry - perhaps you are in some sort of danger?

The lack of people in my dream suggests to me that you are trapped and/or lonely in this problem of yours and you need help. It seems like a hopeless problem because the attacker seems to be everywhere.

The suggestion of some really strange scenarios does make me think that perhaps it isn't too serious an issue or it can also sound like desperation or desire to be free. Or it could be just weird dream scenarios that mean almost nothing or have subliminal messaging.

Vadriel, you obviously have problems or fears you haven't resolved or something. Being a teenager, it's normal.

Andrew the same thing - but you might want to stop playing World of Warcraft. *

ive actually dont some research on the meanings of dreams and whatnot

*NOTE* im not an expert in this in any way, this is just what i can tell you from my research on these things, i could be wrong about some/all/none of it

1. these people that were chasing you, did you know them? more than likely you didnt, this represents your fears, it can be anything really that has been worrying you, money, being sick, job, anything
*it can also represent anger torwards something, but in your case thats less likely because you didnt fight back, only ran

2. the running symbolises trying/wanting to solve the problem or ignore/avoid it

3. them constantly showing up of the antagonist normally shows that what your worried about hasnt stopped for a while and/or you havnt been able to figure out a solution to it

4. your mom being with you through all of it can represent multiple things about her [or to a lesser extent your entire family]:
-you love your mother very much and go to her in times of need
-at least in your eyes, shes worried about the same thing you are, either its happening to her or shes worried for you
-she is trying to help you with what your worried about

5. the gunshot [life threatening attacks] normally shows that you are HIGHLY worried about whatever it is your worried about.

its up to you to peace together whats what, only you know whats on your mind

Lol. I've been having these sort of dreams since I wasn't even INTO my teens. The more complex concepts, such as entropy and global genocide are a bit more recent...but if this shit means I'm ****ed up, I've been that way for a damn long time. Particularly the being eaten thing...that was a looooong time ago. I couldn't have been more than 12.

Im havein an issue with a member of the opposte sex, but I really don't care....
I really can't think of anything that troubling me.....
I think it might be the depo shot I got yesterday.. hormones and all that...
all I know is I was scared as shit when my dad, mother in law, and mom were dead... and very sad... and I couldn't get the dream out of my head all day...

I've had some wierd dreams.

1) I was young and would have this dream often since I was scared of chucky the doll, I would go in the bathroom, brush my teeth, go in the room, come back out, chucky would come out of the faucet, latch onto my ear and kill my dad.

2) Had a dream that I was home with my family, Jason the killer came to the door, so I ran to the door and slammed it shut, and said help. Then he cut the door in half, which I miraculously didn't get hurt from, I then run out of the house in complete terror. My family is left alone. Every house I run past Jason appears in and kills those people. I am running down a long road that is straight. The wierd thing is the main colors of the dream were purple, green and yellow.

3) I am being chased by rats, spiders, etc... My dog starts to fight back by eating the spiders, (she's invincible.) Then I am running past trees, and rats are chasing me and I keep falling and going up and down hills.

4) This dream would constantly repeat. I would be in someone's backyard. I would hit a bee's nest with a bat, hop on my bike, fall off, get stuck by bees and they would be saying this is what happens when you mess with us Brian. But each time I would get farther or away or not as far away.
