It seems like every couple of years, pop music invades yet another peaceful subculture, exploits it, adds drugs to convelude the motives behind the music, and slap Coca-Cola labels all over designer punk pants, and spiked jackets.
As a raver, I still find myself cringing at the number of single 30-40 year old overweight males flopping themselves down at a table in some techno club, or standing against the gates, not really enjoying the music, but slapping women's asses as they walk by.
Right now it's pretty clear that punks are feeling the brunt of the MTV invasion, however I wanted to know what you all predict will be the next perversion of yet another innocent (or maybe not-so-innocent) subculture. If you want to see something else added to the poll for an option, PM me and I'll add it on.
I know there's not nearly enough options up there, as I haven't been really caring what MTV does now. They sold out a long time ago and I've given up hope.
