I made this easy to follow guide that worked very well for me.
Takes about 2-3 Weeks to get good mf items.

1A.

You should always begin with a sorceress. This eliminates the hassle of getting an enigma to teleport. I don't suppose what type of Sorceress matters, just don't forget to get teleport for any type of sorceress.

1B.

Make a lot of friends, friends are very helpful. This eliminates the rush for forge. So you can keep the forge and trade for items you need. Also, they can give you some nice deals in trading, and help you along the way such as leveling you.

These are some strats for different types of sorceresses, you choose which one you want.



Skill Points. Very important you do not screw this up.

Stat Points.
Have in total 156 Strength [Depends On Your Items If they Give + Strength]
So you can use a monarch shield for either Spirit, Stormshield, or 4 Ist'd Monarch.
Have Base Dexterity.
Rest of your Stat Points into Vitality.
Have Base Energy.

4 Socket Armor Topazed.
3 Socket Helm Topazed.
Nagels 20+ MF.
Nagels 20+ MF.
Gull Dagger.
Lucky Boots Of Fortune. [30+ MF]

Make a game called Items 4 PGems.
Trade the stuff you don't need for PGems.
Gather about 40 PGems and trade them for Elite Items.

Useful Tips.
1. The higher level you are the more mf skullders give you.
2. The higher level you are, the better mods you get when u imbue items such as circlets.
3. The higher level you are, the better stuff you can craft.
4. Stick with 1 character and make it godly. Or else you have A.D.D
5. PGems are a way to make lower class people turn higher in class, by trading for them, and trading them for a higher price can be helpful.

Keep all your colors light. It's a very dark background and itll clash and become blurry for readers. You can check out my fire druid guide for a couple colors I thought work with the background.

Sorceress -
The Elemental Mage.

Forge -
A Quest In Diablo 2 That Gives 1 Rune, 1 Perfect Gem, 2 Flawless Gem, and 1 Regular Gem. (Based on # of chars in game)

Enigma -
Pretty Expensive Armor that gives the skill teleport.

Friends -
A companion that you can trust and hang out with, to have fun.

Stat Points -
You get 5 of these every level, and some from a Quest. These are used to boost either Dexterity, Strength, Energy, and Vitality.

Strength -
Boosts atk damage, and is required to use some items.

Dexterity -
Increases the chance to hit, and is required to use some items.

Energy -
Increases Mana.

Vitality -
Increases Stamina, and Health.

Socket -
Like inserting a Gem or Rune to give it special attributes to an item.

Topaz -
Gives Lightning damage to Weapons, Gives Lightning Resist to Shields, and Gives Magic Find to Helmet and Armor.

Magic Find -
Increases your percentage to find, Magical Items when you kill monsters.

Gear -
Stuff you put on.

P(Name) -
P = Perfect.

Normal Items -
Item of lowest req and atk.

Exceptional Item -
Item of middle req and atk.

Elite Item -
Item of highest req and atk.

Good guide is helpful for noobs and i think should deserve a temporary sticky

No offence but you forgot a few things.
Do not get a full rush just up to Councel NO FURTHER
reason being get the khalims heart, eye, brain. Transmute with the flail to get Khalims Will (best lvl 1 weapon period)

Begginer gear. Try to get full Sigon set with Khalims Will Flail off act 3 quests (lightning damage Duel leech ect) rings/amulet of + to resistence, def, mana, life, or if lucky +skills (good luck finding this for a low lvl)

Get a act 2 def merc for Prayer, and make a low lvl insight for him. Till you can get the cookie cutter holy freeze def act 2 nightmare merc.

That sound about right. For amu you could use the act 2 quest amu if you cant find a low lvl good amu. I guess this guide could be useful for noobies, so i guess gj. Though 1 problem i can see is that some of the equipment would be hard to find if you dont have friends and arnt lucky. Actually, best way to find friends i find is by rushing people. I made to really good friends in the last few days by rushing them for hf. They are good enough we mule together, and my orb sorc is borrowing one of their occy and lidless, and they are using my HOTO. Hope that helps.

gj = good job ^^
amu = amulet
A rush = where some 1 helps you through acts 1-5 ( sometimes for a price like Hell Forge aka hf)
To mule = a mule is an extra char (aka character) where you put all your extra items, charms (aka chrms. Sc = small charm. Gc = grand charm), rings, etc.
Orb sorc = A certain "genre" of sorceress who uses frozen orb as her main attack skill.
Mods = characteristics of items, their bonuses, like plus to skills, plus to resistences, etc.
Occy = Swirling Occulus = a very good one handed orb that gives 3 to sorc. (aka sorceress) skills and other great mods.
Lidless = great sorc shield with 1 to skills and other great mods.
HOTO = Rune word = Heart of the Oak = gives very good mods.
