if i give my merc a magic findin armor will it actually work? does he improve my magic finding possiblities?

It onli hav the percentage of mf it says on the merc ...

mf %does not stack

if ur merc makes the killing blow, then yes the mf will work.
whether or not he gets ur mf too, plus his/her own after killing monster; not sure

when u make cows and kill the cow king, can u still go back into cows on a game u make?

yes as long as you kill the king and not someone else. if they kill the king then you wont be able to make any more cow games on that char!

About the mf on the merc. Im 99% sure that if your merc makes the kill then both your and his mf's are added. However, if u make the kill, then only your mf is taken into account.

its on diabloii.net if you make the final hit, then no merc MF isint added. If the merc makes the final hit, then you get yours and their MF added.
