Newb Mod Making

well as the topic says im new to mod making.

i was wondering where to get mod tools for 1.10 ,ive looked around and all i have found is 1.09 .

could some one give me a link to some tools?

Most 1.09 tools work for 1.10. http://www.d2mods.com is a great place to start, if you don't mind File Planet.

im really not much of a fan for file planet...but i really wanna mod so i guess ill give it a go thanks again

wow...there's alot of files there...what ones do i need to make a mod...im thinkin just about better drops and harder monsters...and to mess around with...nothing to advance

You need all of them (or at least one from every aspect of mod making) to make a full mod.

But to edit drops and monsters, all you need is an MPQ Extractor and D2 Excel.

mpq2k and mpqview worked for me when i messed around with modding. mpqview for extracting, mpq2k for putting them into a mpq file ( if you want to)

Im looking at the tutorials at Phrozen Keep will the 1.10 beta tutorials work on 1.10?
