New Start

Well the last time i played D2 was in the summer of 2003 right before the big patch and stuff. Its been about two years now and i want to see how things are going down so i have decided to play again. I just installed my D2 and started a account on west. Now i was wondering whats the best MF char now? Is it still a Light/Ice Sorc?


And it would be great amd i would repay you later if you could rush me, i started on East.

In my opinion it is the Ice Sorceress, but I guess it really is just an opinion

Probably best to start with a Blizzard sorcerress, they are the best for mfing. The good thing about sorcs are that you can do this little trick at Mephisto where he gets stuck on the stairs after you drag him there and you can just cast your blizzard on im and he will not be able to attack you. If you need some help with this tell me, I can help. Max out Blizzard and Cold Mastery before you max anything else out though. Now there are new things called synergies where your attacks are boosted up by the level of your other skills. It is important to max out your synergies, which are the green things under the skill you want.

if you want a strong mfer char that can even handle hell baal, start a hammer-din
the gear is expensive but its worth it

i disagree with cm. and i agree with ak0n. Hammerdin shit is to expensive if your just starting out. Start out wiht blizz sorc and mf the hell outta the game. Then trade mf'ed stuff for hammerdin stuff. Best way if your poor =)
