So, anyone hear the new Smashing Pumpkins album yet? At first I was a bit dissapointed...but it's been growing on me alot.

My favorite song from it so far is "That's The Way"...which you can listen to here. "Come on (let's go!) is also a good track...as is "Doomsday Clock".

Anyway, it's a pretty solid rock album. I suggest checking it out if you like them..because it's definitely a worthy pumpkins album.

THOUGHTS?! :israel:

It's a good album.. It's not as good as adore or anything.. But it's a solid album as roach said..

Maybe it will grow on me the more i listen to it.. That's what Adore did.

mellon collie and siamese dream is where its at,

this is just corgan and one other band mate cashing in =/
Meh, I disagree there. If they wanted to cash in..they could have made a much more "pop" like album, but they didn't. This album is definitely less pop than previous.

Personally I think Adore was their best album..but many "hardcore" fans hated the album..and influenced them to drop their new electronic-like sound ;(

I liked the album but somehow I found it too short.... it felt like it abruptly ended.
I can kinda agree with that.. This album didn't have a smooth flow.. like i dunno.. I can listen to like any other SP album.. and have it seem like 1 whole song, not 12 seperate songs and feelings...

A few months old but what the hell..

Zeigeist is growing on me like it is most of you. It is quite solid and still has that Pumpkins sound that you can hear in Mellon Collie's Jellybelly and Zero and I think Adore's Everlasting Gaze.

But my favorite album of theirs has to be Siamese Dream with my favorite song off the album being Hummer or Rocket.

My favorite songs by them have to be Muzzle, Here is no Why, To Forgive, Galapogos, Hummer, Stand Inside Your Love, Disarm, Cherub Rock, Rocket, Mayonaise, Geek USA, and... that's it for favorites; none from Zeitgeist just yet.

Doomsday Clock, 7 Shades of Black, That's the Way, Tarantula, Bring the Light, and Let's Go! are the songs I generally listen to off the album now. Sometimes Bleeding the Orchid or Neverlost. I really didn't like the other songs all that much...

siamese dream was pretty good and hard to compete with. zeitgeist was good, just different.

Zwan was terrible.. they had 1 song I liked and i cant even remember the name of it.

United States is a sweet song. Some pretty nifty guitar work in it. it's a 9minute song.

I agree with pains..I didn't like Zwan at all. I did like Billy's solo CD though.

Billy's solo took a little getting used to.

There where a few gems though his song with Robert Smith made me cream my boxers.
