How's the page in my sig look? I re-skinned + mod'd it in about 30 mins (completly changed everything except the TD layout)

Not too sure about the link colours.....

One should start adding stuff, looks cool.

Banner takes a while to load across 56k though, and looking best at 1280x1024 is kinda overkill.

The layout is alright. Although I have some issues with your site. What is the point you are trying to get across? It seems like everyone wants a portfolio these days, but they dont understand its to show off your work. The resolution is a bit high, you should fix it so that people with 1024x780 cant view it best, since thats what most people use, and you can leave the color bit off.

The point is - just to have a site where I post whatever the hell I want to, without having to worry about people complaining. I can also show off my work, if need be. Also, I like HTML, so it made sense. And the site looks good in 1024. I'll change that. Also- about the banner. I cut it into three pieces which will make it load faster. I'll put it on later.

It doesn't necessarily load faster by splitting images.....

*splits his 500x125 image into 62500 individual images of 1 pixel*

I cut my banner into 3 pieces, hoping for it to load faster. When I update it, I'll need you to test it (x42).

Overall there is no difference, but cutting it up allows the pieces to show up faster.

Yes. Also- I've never heard of this before, but is there a way to make a TD scroll downwards? Or would I have to put something else in (like a huge text box with all the fancy stuff) to make it scroll?

You would need a textarea, or frame.
