New Seige of Gondor or Old Seige of Gondor?

Any Seige of Gondor fans out there? I know i am one.
But recently there has been release of several new versions.
Among them are SOG2 and SOG Advance.
Personally, i thought the new ones ruined Seige of Gondor.
What do you think?

I sometimes play it. Played it more before. Advance is very lame. The person unprotected the map, and then edited the terrain. So the normal terrrain got replaced by square terrain, so it looks real terrible. The original was the best. I usually played as Harad cause they were best. Alot of people thought Harad sucked, because they always thought the Elves would take Guldur, and Easterling would die fast, and same with Umbar, but I always proved them wrong. I would always go defend Dol Guldur with Herumor and all my ground, and I would build sunkens and spores and send my Crebain. Also, send Fuinur to Umbar. Me and Mordor always owned his heroes and then Thrandruil's Halls. It's fun! The biggest reason I played Harad was because I always feel like playing the "perceived underdog", and then proving them wrong that it sucks.

Yup. Have to agree here. My friends and I play SoG continually, and the old one was so much better.

Unfortunately, one of the people I play with got a hold of the map, and unprotected, and then made some "changes" and then released it.... unprotected...

Idiot. *sigh*

I now thwack him soundly everytime I see him.

And just in case you don't know, Elves/Ents pwns.
