New Scams I've Heard These Dayz

Hi people, THESE ARE SOME NEW SCAMS I'VE HEARD THESE DAYS, for some of u, these scams might alreadi b in somewhat old to u, but of course, there's always newcomers, and i wud like them to kno what's going on.....plz take some time to check it out, because you wudn't wanna b scammed, wud ya?

"I can get you 2 free sojs....etc, etc" sounds attracting? well ya, den da person says one account may only have 2 free sojs, this way, he gains ur trust...now, he asks u to dl a program from a website, and the site is www.geocities.com/sojworld
and when u enter this site, it states 2 sojs per account, too, and all dese other rules....so of course, to a person who goes dis far, he/she will dl da program because he/she trusts it alreadi....now, u dl da program, and if u r still running in diablo game, and u click on da zip file, and unzip it, den click on da file...u'll find it opening diablo bak up, and run around uncontrollably, den u'll find ur mouse clickin open ur inventory and throws down wateva ur wearing right now....ya, das da trick, den da scammer picks dem up and leave.....now u kno da trick, dun believe dem, and plz, dun scam ppl like dat either....

AGAIN, do not believe these scammers, you are welcomed to check out da sites, but do not scam ppl wif them...now u know the secret, pass it down and teach those scammers a lesson...

Seriously, if you stupid enough to download something from that dodgy looking site in the first place, then to run it...you deserve to lose your items, have your account hacked, have you comp explode and then be beaten severly with a herring sandwich.

Bottom line : If it looks dodgy, it usually is
BTW, never download anything from a webhost like geocities

Yeah, alright. Sorry to flame and stuff but yeah, it is really stupid to download things without knowing exactly what they are and where they come from.
Good to know ppl are letting the n00bs know so the hackers dont win.

well if you hack you can get your account hacked too. thats what happened to my friends account, he used a hack and actually it planted a bug in his account that allowed the other hacker to get in......... he lost five lvl 90 (and above) chars!

hacking and scamming are very different. And kittiekitty, hacking didnt plant a bug on your friends account, more likely, your friend was using stuff he downlaoded of the internet...which in turn, contained keyloggers and the like.

BTW, bakfed, can you use real English next time, if you would take the time to write things in a way that is easily able to be read.....people will more likely read it. I mean, how hard is it to type -th instead of -d?

any site with only a download link is usually a trojan. A scammer doesnt put much time on a web page.

If it sounds to be good to be true it usualy is lets face it all the lame scamming scaumbags crawling the trade channels with learn to dupe, free soj's and stuff like that play on peoples greed.

Now just stop for one moment and think, if someone knows how to dupe wtf would they be telling people how to do it.

well actualli, if you just found out how to dupe, u need items for you to dupe....if you dun have the items, then even if you know how to dupe, you still won't get the godly items...that's why some ppl go spam it...but right now, i can almost guarantee you that 99.9% of the ppl in channel or game names, saying dat they can dupe....is a scam..

scammers pretend to be girls and try to give you thier picture, but its a drop bot.or people trade you items but switch it with a similar looking one.people try to get you to pop by holding an item and getting pked twice.people try and use tradehack.people try and get you to join a clan by getting your password.people try to guess your password and enter your xfer game.people try to be your friend by gaining your trust , till you give them a good item to hold ,xfer,etc... then you never see them again, the best scammers take long time to strike.
