Alright, so yesterday I tried to patch WCIII with v1.20b and it kept failing, so I downloaded it from blizzard.com's website and still failed.

So today since I am at home because of a loving kidney infection I felt like trying to reintall WCIII completely and see if that solved my problems with the patch.

And lets put it like this... WCIII ROC installs fine. I put in TFT installed halfway and froze. I figured it was because I was doing other things while installing, so I clicked on the D drive again so it will reload the installtion screen. But it said "ROC needed before installing" So I looked in my WCIII Folder and everything was gone.

Alright, I was ticked at this time, I reinstalled ROC again, put in TFT, started installing froze again this time, but I left the computer alone for 2 hours and done other things around the house. When I reload the CD again it says ROC is needed before installing TFT.

This is quite odd and ticking me off. Can anyone help me out?

I can't help you there, but why are you trying to play Warcraft with a kidney infection? That's some serious shit dude.

As far as your game actually goes, you might have a virus or some spymare/malware or something because that's not normal.

Run a scan on your PC and then try, if it still doesn't work, call Blizzard Tech.

I scanned my PC, I had nothing serious that I think could have effected anything. But just in case I am going to rescan with a different program and then try to reinstall.

Edit: No success same things.

Call Blizzard, let them know your problem. They should be able to help. It could be a more serious hardware problem.

And then pay for replacements for all the hardware you **** up in the process? Smooth moves there buddy. It's called patience, use it.

As far as the original problem, congrats on getting it to work, so I assume it was a problem with your CD drive or something? Sounded hardware related to me.

This is weird.

-try to install in a different directory on a different drive partition even.
-try to play ROC and after that install TFT

I'm afraid with our current technology, you aren't able to reintall anything.

Did you even check to see if your CD was scratched. Too many scratches often leads to a point where the disk is unreadable.

But after seeing the problem is solved, its good that Icedevil is there, also congrats on solving it on your own Ganzu. Aaron, quit being silly and getting an argument going!

Icedevil, stop snapping for no reason. Aaron, stop antagonizing other people. You have already got on my nerves by reviving 2002 threads for no apparent reason.
