New Pally(help plz)

Recently I made a PvP paladin and he is ok but not exactly what i had in mind. I am now going to make a new pally but am not sure what to do. here is my basic plan.

Skills:
Charge: Max
Smite: Max
Vigor: rest
Holy Shield: Max
Fanatacism: Max

Stats:
Str: enough for items
Dex: Max block
Vit: rest
Ene: none

Gear:
Ammy:Angelic or Maras
Ring1:Angelic or BK
Ring2:Raven or Soj
Wep1:Shael'd Deemer(best wep atm)
Wep2:6soc PB Shael'd
Shield1:HoZ(need advice for soc)
Shield2:Highest smite dmg shield soc4(maybe ed jewels? does ED work with smite?)
Helm:Shako or Gaze
Boots:Gores
Gloves:Dracs
Belt:Tgods or Verdungos

Help...
I need to know if the skills are ok
I need to know what to do to increase dmg on smite
Should I put less into vit and add to dex or str
would the angelics be good for Charge/smiter?
Any other advice would be very appreciated

Lastly...
Is this build any good at all? Im wanting to kill casters and meleers.

Im guessing your going for Chargdin, heres better setup:

20 charge
20 vigor
20 might
20 Conc (why? it has uninterruption in attacks.)
rest into smite

stats:
str: item requirement (156 for SS)
dex: pump it up, without holy shield u need LOTS
vit: rest (jus keep on pumping this and dex)
energy: none

item:
helm: gaze
ammy: highlord
ring1: Raven
ring2: BK
glove: steelrend (60% ed)
boots: gore (upged)
weap1: botd
weap2: perf heaven's light (it > deemer)
shield1: HoZ umed
shield2: Get knight's Sacred Targe 2 socketed ( +101-121 To Attack Rating, +51-65% Enhanced Damage, and sacred targe has highest block rate, and high avg damage) and make rhyme :)
belt: verdungos

dude angelics adds ton to ar and it doesnt suck lots of melee pallys have it.

legend ty for the guide is this a cookiecutter guide?
also is conc better than fanat?
fanat adds dmg...

anyways I chose Conc, because it gives you uninterruption when you attack. Fanat, yes it gives more dmg and AR, but once your hit, you stop charging. Conc has uninterruption, so you dont stop charging.

But its up to you, since conc dont have AR :(

They are both good, but in this case, I would choose Conc.

20 Charge
20 Might
20 Vigor
20 Fanat
1 Holy Shield
1 Smite
1 Pre-Reqs
Rest into Zeal

Gear:
Helm: 2x Ber 25/15(31 w/ ber) CoA
Neck: Angelic
Ring1: Angelic
Ring2: Angelic
Shield: 192 HoZ upped w/ Cham (only upped for smite damage)
Belt: 35/15 Verdungos
Boots: Gore Riders
Gloves: Double upped Bloodfist
Weapon: 397/15 Eth BoTD Zerk
Armor: 905 Boneweave CoH
SwitchW: 5/6/3 Crystal Sword CTA
SwitchS: Sigons (for the +1 skills)
CharmsGC: 10 Combat some with 2nd mods (Life and FHR)
CharmsSC: 9x Life, FHR, AR/DMG/xx, 1x Anni

With this gear, and Fanaticism I have INSANE AR, and against any non melee its almost guarenteed 1 hit kill. The only thing that gives me any trouble is a high def barb with similar gear.

Fanaticism on right, Charge on the left... for casters I wait for an opening and shift+charge in close then get a charge lock on em. 90% of the time this scares the crap out of them and they try to run/tele away and that is certain death if I get the charge lock.

For melee I will charge one time to close the gap then switch to Zeal and finish them off.

As far as using Conc over Fanat... I wouldnt even think about it. 20% uninteruptable doesn't mean that much when compared to the insane AR and IAS you get from Fanat.

With this set up my Pally does 5k - 15k charge damage and 5k+ Zeal Damage.
