I'm, more likely than not, going to be involved in the development of an MMORPG. It will, of course, be fantasy genre and I will be helping with the ideas, lore and finding bugs.
It'll have a fairly complex engine, and the game itself will reflect this. Here are a few of the "planned" and "proposed" features:
1. Seperate body part armouring, and hitting "better" parts based on attack rating & competence. Things will happen, such as gloves adding more hand armour instead of adding to a running total.
2. Each "limb" will also have "total damage" and if it exceeds a certain point it will result in limb loss - which will appear on your character! Also losing a limb will cause severe damage and you will continue to bleed until you are either healed or killed.
3. Race will affect stats/skills heavily, but not affect potential classes in any "large" way.
4. Really high-end graphics which is expected to cause very high system requirements.
It'll all occur in a fantasy genre setting of my personal creation, so it will be a great experience all-around.
