New Ladder Maps?

I've heard of Blizzard updating the Ladder maps in StarCraft when they make new patches. Are there any hints of this happening in the future. One day I spent a whole wack of time perfecting a melee map I made. Someone actually suggested I submit it to Blizzard, but I don't think it'd be worth it. So... what's up with this? I don't think Blizzard needs to make new patches, but if they got lots of really good and new ladder maps, maybe it would be worth a v1.11.

That might be a good idea the basic maps that come with the games arnt that great so some new ladder maps would be great cuase a new map means new strats(maybe) but as for if it will happen i dont know i havnt heard anything of that sort
