New dupe?

yesterday while muling 2 friends where in the game, one in town the other doing ac5 q1. i dropped a shako on the floor and changed character, to find that after several tries i join the game and finally finding both of my friends in a channel, saying they lost connection to tha game cuz of lag, ofcourse i got pissed cuz my shako was gone... but today i discovered that the shako is still on my head, while my friend clames to have the one i dropped, he didnt give it back cuz he made a stupid joke that pissed me off so i squelched him. so i think my shako got duped and he has one, the one he picked up, and i have one the one which i thought i had dropped(which i found on my head this morning)

i know it might seem similar to the lag dupe emthod but its a bit different, as noone logged in to my char and dropped the items. so plz dont flame me. just trying to contribute to the community

First of all, shouldnt this be in BNEThacking?

Does the person know your password? If he does he probably put the Shako back on your account while you were sleeping to make you think you duped it..

Its rollback. I've done it with friends giving me 3500 ping.
Just don't go in the same game with the shako's unless you know how to perm them.

It doesn't matter if the item is socketed are not. And this is in the wrong forum.

dont you need to sell it and then buy it again to perm a duped item? and doesnt an item dissapear if its socketed?

No u dont have to perm it every game, only perm it if u think the person got the same items as ur.

No a item dont disappear if its unperm n is stocked.

You can do the selling perming if the item doesnt have any jewel/runes in it or u can do the trade perming.

way's to temp/perm
if it is an item liek a ck ammy.
open up trade window with a friend after everygame your in that has a copy of it in it.just put it in teh trade window and exit teh game real quick.
for other item's sell it to npc and buy it back.
other way's to temp/perm
imbue the item
personlize the item.

and yes this should have gone to bnet hacking.
it's not a big problem but mod's plz move there.
