Most ppl i meet say that rushing is always awesome because while thier opponents are "waisting their time" getting upgrades and buildings, they build units and units to kill the other dude.
90% of the ppl who think that way against me live to regret it
Im an undead player and i always get a DK and 5 ghouls fast (defense/cannabalise upgraded), then upgrade to halls ASAP. With my DK and 5 ghouls i go creep my expo. Now, less experienced players are probly saying "That sucks, some of your ghouls die, and the rest will have low HP". Not true. I heal any neardeath ghoul with Death Coil, and i cannabalise right after.
By the time any rushers get to my base with bout 10 units both allies (i play random 2v2), i have bout ten ghouls myself, and 2 heroes, one of which is lvl2 half the time. And i also have a Halls and my ally for backup. The 10% chance that i lose is if my ally didnt get many units.
Now depending on how many units we have left, we will either counter and kill, or i will creep more, get heroes lvl 2 and 3, build temples, and upgrade citadel. If they launch another wave, it get decimated by my superior heroes (rushers don't creep that much) and neer equal number of units. Then i counter and kill.
The moral of this story is - make units like you were gonna rush, by attack creeps instead of players, dont let any of those units die, and leave room in your budget for upgrades and D.
