my friend wants to setup a wireless network and is having some problems.
they already have the network card for the notebook, and the router for the PC, and they are using dial-up...as bogus as it sounds...
the notebook is detecting some wireless signal from someplace, but when i tried to open IE it got the "work offline" prompt thingy....they have the network bridge crap setup for the notebook but nothing is setup under network connections on the host machine besides "Dial-up Connection" and "Netzero" which is what they are using currently for their wireless connection
does anyone know any tuts or any ways to setup a wireless dial-up connection
