Need to find my cd key for LOD

I recently ran into a problem with my Diablo 2. It wouldnt play beacuase of some storm.dll file that was missing or something so i reinstalled diablo 2 again, but when it came to installing LOD i found that i lost my cd key :hbut (s**t)... It is then that i realized that i had both diablo2 & lod installed on my bro's computer. My question is does anyone know how to somehow find the cd key. I looked in the regedit window but can't seem to find the keys. I heard that the cd keys are located in the d2char.mpq file or something. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

try copying over the mpq if you used the defaults then they both should be installed in same location on both computers that will probably do it. *if thats the correct file with the cd key that is*

there are also a few programs that will extract and tell you what your cd key is search these forums for a link im sure there is one.

Finnaly found it...

Well i searched around forever at different forums and such, and i finally found a way to extract out your cd key from your computer. I thought i would share it with everybody...first go to this website

There is a link there by " The helper" which downloads the cd key grabber. Props go to him. Follow the steps in the read-me and it should work.

if you aren't 100% sure that dl isnt a trojan/keylogger/virus you better remove that link real fast or find yourself banninated.
